ok forgive for not reading a lot of these topics b4 writing this, but just guessing from a decade of listening to christian radio and reading books on the subject of marriage from Dobson, Lehman and now the Feldhans, there is next to zero information out there that is usefull for me. My situation may not be unique, but after reading this, face does anybody in the christian community talk about it!! Here it is, my wife works and I dont!! suprise suprise. Every thing out there comes from the perspective that men are the bread winners and women stay at home and take care of kids. Well there is a whole lot more to this than what I have just stated, but for now is there anybody that wants to respond to this problem. My wife of 20 years now is consumed by her intense professional job and whatever time and evergy she has left goes into the kids, or church work, virtually nothing left for me. I have tried all the usually stuff outlined in the book(s), but just about anything I do is rejected by "I have to hurry" or "thats sounds rehearsed" I love my wife and will never leave her, I am just at my wits end trying to figure out how to have a deep and intimated relationship with her, especially when she doesnt even see a problem with our relationship other than me needing to be satisfied with what I have!
